Vehicle maintenance & restoration

Are you a mechanic? Do you have experience working on engines, metalworking, or fabricating?  The Mid-South Military Museum, Inc. is seeking dedicated volunteers with hands-on skills to help refurbish and maintain our collection of historic military vehicles.

By donating your time and expertise, you’ll help keep these important pieces of history in running order, enabling the museum to showcase them in local parades, patriotic events, and school/community outreach programs.

Your skills can help us continue sharing the stories of our nation’s heroes and preserving these vehicles for future generations.

Help Preserve Our History!
Volunteer to Assist in Cataloging and Inventorying Artifacts and Memorabilia        

Do you have an eye for detail and a passion for history?  The Mid-South Military Museum, Inc. is seeking dedicated volunteers to help inventory and catalog our collection of artifacts, militaria, and memorabilia.  Your help will play a crucial role in preserving and organizing our museum’s treasures for future generations.

By volunteering, you’ll assist in creating a comprehensive, well-organized system to help preserve the rich history behind each item in our collection.  This process is key to maintaining our museum’s archives and ensuring that every artifact is documented and accessible.

What You Can Help With:

• Cataloging new and existing artifacts, military items, and memorabilia
• Organizing and updating records and inventories
• Researching the history and significance of individual pieces
• Assisting with the digital cataloging of our collection
• Helping organize and maintain storage areas for safe preservation
